The Queen. The Duchess. And The Princess.

Inside every woman lives three people: A Queen. A Duchess. And a Princess.

These three “ways of being” have helped you succeed and survive in your life. Yet, if we take a closer look, we would realize two of these “ways of being” actually keep you from a more successful and fulfilling life.

The Queen is overly dominant and bossy. In business, the Queen thinks she has to act like a man to succeed. In relationships, the Queen is excessively controlling and assumes she has to force or manipulate others to get what she wants. In life, the Queen secretly believes everyone is out to get her and so she has to constantly be on guard.

The Queen is exhausted from running every person and every situation. She is often alone. And most of the time, in the end, the Queen is beheaded!

Most women were taught we had to fight for our rights. We had to fight for:

The right to vote.

The right to be heard.

The right to entrepreneurialism.

The right to control our own bodies.

I am grateful to the women who paved the way of equality for you and me. However, somewhere along the way the women’s fight for rights got out of balance. We have pushed the pendulum too far and today we have women in leadership, relationship, marriage, and life whose habitual reaction when faced with controversy is to jump into being the Queen or the Duchess.

It’s not about burning bras, denouncing our femininity, and seeing men as the enemy. I don’t believe smart women ever stood for that extremity. My Princess message is about celebrating your feminine power and partnering with men and other women asOne Human Race to get on with healing the ailments of the planet!
