2. Cancer from perspective of Life-Supporting Medicine
Is there a cancer constellation or can it affect everyone? Just as only a certain percentage of people get sick during a flu epidemic, this applies in principle to every illness. Those who do not belong to the risk group are mostly spared. That should actually also apply to cancer. But what specific factors promote the outbreak of this dreaded disease? Is there a so-called"cancer personality"? Or is it the case that cancer is an exception to other dispositions in chronic diseases and cannot be predicted?
2.1. The categorical classification system
What we lack for assessing this question and for medicine as a whole is a system of order that allows clear, contradicting statements and at the same time shows the interactions of various aspects. Only then can one work scientifically exactly, instead of relying on statistics that completely negate the main aspect of a person, namely his individuality.
Unfortunately, it is not well known that such a categorical system in the form of theLuescher cube (according to the Swiss psychology Prof Dr Max Luescher) has existed for over half a century, but has not yet found its way due to the linear-causal system of thought in conventional medicine.
The categorical classification system is compatible with the 5 change phases of TCM (Taoist Chinese Medicine), which underlines its universal validity.
Since the Luescher cube has a multi-dimensional and bipolar structure, it not only obeys the geometry of the room (structure, composition, expansion), but also conforms to the ancient teaching of the 4 elements (fire, water, earth, air). As a result, all the influences to which matter is exposed are reflected in it. Since in ancient China only 4 elements were assumed as the basic principles (not 5, as later in traditional Chinese medicine), everything fits together. Due to translation errors, 5 conversion phases became 5 elements. Only through rediscovered old writings could the error be cleared up.
But it is precisely the 5 phases of change that lead us to important insights, especially if they are derived from the Taoist original doctrine of the I-Ching and applied in several dimensions.
"Metal" corresponds to the air element. There, the lungs and large intestine are found as functional groups, as well as grief (loss) and resignation as psychological correlates.
We breathe in PRANA through the lungs, spiritual food according to Ayurveda. Breathing itself is a function of the kidneys (!), which belong to the water element. The large intestine should no longer contain anything undigested, but rather draw water (!) from the digested nutrition. The functional systemmetal (air) lung / large intestine converts the energy and passes it on to thewater element kidney / bladder, which is why the lungs are also known as the “mother of the kidneys”.
These complex relationships between metal (air) and water alone make it easy to imagine disorders of the functional circuit kidney / bladder.
The assignment in the Luescher cube now gives rise to further interesting aspects. The air element (yellow) is variable-receptive and separative (Fig. 3 next page). A cancerous tumour is a prime example of isolation and thus separation.

The water element is constantly receptive and integrative. Water as a universal solvent connects everything with everything in the organism and thus ensures coherence. Only then does it make it possible for “relationships” to b
