Chapter Two
I jumped out of my skin. I practically had a heart attack. Whipping my head around I saw Reyna standing right behind me, peering over my shoulder as she suddenly gripped my arm. Of course, my hammering heart thundered even harder at the identity of my accoster.

Everything about her – appearance, outfit and attitude – appealed compulsorily to some innately submissive predisposition heretofore only suspected in my timid psyche. It was like I’d been waiting for such a dominant creature to claim me my entire life. Already lost, with a full moon leering into this gloomy room as midnight approached on All Hallows’ Eve I felt a superstitious shiver shudder through me.
