| In our unit, students hop, skip, and jump around the Pacific Rim. It is an in-depth study covering a broad range of topics from basic geography, mapping skills, climate studies and resources to types of government — all as they relate to the twenty-four nations of the Pacific Rim. Students will gain a new understanding of the emerging trade powerhouse. In our unit, students learn all about the Pacific Rim using a structured format. Exciting activities related to each of the lesson topics are used to"cement in" concepts. Student notes are used in conjunction with related student activities. This Canada lesson provides a teacher and student section with a variety of reading passages, activities, crossword, word search, exam and answer key to create a well-rounded lesson plan. |
