| ME AN' ANDREW is a story of love and friendship. It is the story of two 11-year-old boys, Andrew Craghead, who is white, and Joe Willie Drummond, who is black. Andrew is the victim of a severely abusive father, and as a result of this abuse, Andrew is psychologically mute. Andrew is befriended by Joe Willie Drummond, who is determined to shield Andrew from the abuse of his father. |
