No one deliberately chooses
a life of failure and despair,
A humdrum life going nowhere,
So why do so many people live there?
EVERYONE WOULD CHOOSE A LIFE FILLED WITH BLESSING and success, yet many do not experience it. Therefore, the all-important question is: Why do people who believe that God gives the power to create a blessed life live below their potential, and how can they find their way to the blessing realm? The answer to that question requires a book… this is that book.
I have observed three types of people in the world; perhaps you have noticed them, too.
First, there is the person who appears to succeed at everything. It is as though a realm of favor, joy, pleasure, and success surrounds them and influences every aspect of their life. Their relationships, career, health, and material possessions all appear to pulsate with goodness and fruitfulness.
On the other hand, you have probably met individuals in the second category who live with constant patterns of failure. They exist in a realm of continual disappointments, tragedies, broken dreams, and shattered hopes.
The third group includes those who live their lives somewhere in-between the first type and the second– sometimes things work out well for them and sometimes they don’t. Their lives seem to contain a little bit of blessing and a little bit of curse, with a whole lot of mediocrity in-between. Some think this is the“normal life.”
This may sound like a dumb question, but you must answer it to experience change:
If you became convinced that you actually possess the God-given authority to create a life of blessing and success, would you be willing to pay the price– give up old ways of thinking, speaking, and acting– to learn new ways that are required for greater success in life?
The Bible is your handbook for living the optimal life. It contains all the wisdom, insights, and counsel you need to live a life of abundance, purity, and fruitfulness. In the Word, you find the keys to transform yourself and the world you influence. The Word of God works for all people, even those who are unaware of obeying it. It is the same with the natural laws created by God… the law of gravity works whether you are a Christian or not. The principles and instruction we discover in God’s Word will create results for all who obey and align with it.

I am confident that if you really believed you had the power to create your world, you would wholeheartedly fashion an environment of“heaven on earth” in every area. It would be a world full of love, joy, peace, and all that gives you pleasure.
The truth is, you actually do have a God-given ability to create your life, and you can greatly influence all that pertains to you. The first step toward taking control of your world is understanding and accepting that, for the most part, you have created the current state of your life.
