< doctype html public '-//w3c//dtd html 4.0 transitional//en'>This volume is devoted to the abundance of poetics from the Early Modern period that, from the 15th century onward, drew on ancient traditions, and were primarily published in Latin. The authors analyze normative poetics, major tractates about poetology, and common schoolbooks, yet also examine indirect poetological reflections contained in poems. The volume provides a multifaceted view of the dynamic interplay between these two forms of poetics.
