Jakob Ludwig Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, (1809 - 1847), generally known in English-speaking countries, as Felix Mendelssohn, was a German composer, pianist, organist and conductor of the early Romantic period. Contained within is Mendelssohn's Cello Sonata No. 1 in B flat major, Op. 45 it was composed in October 1838. The work has three movements:1. Allegro vivace. 2. Andante. 3. Allegro assai. |
